Motorola Unveils New Budget Moto G57 and Moto G57 Power Phones
Motorola has recently announced the launch of its latest budget smartphones, the Moto G57 and Moto G57 Power, which come with impressive specifications that are sure to attract budget-conscious consumers.
Following the success of the Moto G56, which was praised as a solid and stylish budget device, the Moto G57 seems to be following a similar path with some upgrades.
Both phones are among the first to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chip, paired with up to 24GB of RAM, offering a significant amount of memory for budget devices. Additionally, the phones boast MIL-STD-810H and IP64-rated bodies with toughened Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
The front of both devices sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD display, similar to its predecessor, the Moto G56. The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP front-facing camera.
The main difference between the two devices lies in the battery capacity. The Moto G57 is equipped with a 5,200mAh battery, while the Moto G57 Power boasts a massive 7,000mAh cell, promising over two days of usage on a single charge.
Both phones support 30W wired charging, although it may not be ideal for the Moto G57 Power with its larger battery capacity. Nevertheless, considering these are budget phones, the charging speed is still reasonable.
While UK availability for the Moto G57 remains unknown, the Moto G57 Power is already available for purchase starting at £229.99.
In addition to the Moto G57 series, Motorola has also introduced the Moto G (2026) and Moto G Play (2026) in the US market. The Moto G (2026) features Dimensity 6300 power, a 32MP selfie camera, a dedicated macro camera, and an IP52 rating. On the other hand, the Moto G Play (2026) offers a 32MP main camera, an 8MP selfie camera, and 18W charging, catering to consumers looking for more affordable options.
The Moto G (2026) will be available for purchase in the US on December 11 for $199.99, while the Moto G Play (2026) is already on sale since November 13, priced at $169.99.
Overall, Motorola continues to impress with its lineup of budget-friendly smartphones, offering a balance of performance, features, and affordability for consumers looking for value in their mobile devices.
