Motorola made quite a splash at CES 2026 with the launch of six new devices, including the Moto Watch. This stylish and capable smartwatch comes at a much lower price point compared to its competitors from Google and Samsung.
Starting at just £89.99 (or £129.99 for the metal and silicon strap variants), the Moto Watch will be available for purchase in February. It offers a budget-friendly option for those looking for a well-rounded wearable device.
One of the standout features of the Moto Watch is its impressive 13-day battery life, surpassing the Pixel Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 8, and Apple Watch Series 11. Despite these advanced features, the Moto Watch remains affordable.
Unlike many of its competitors, the Moto Watch does not run on Google’s Wear OS platform. Instead, Motorola has teamed up with Polar, a well-established brand with its own software.
Powered by Polar, the Moto Watch allows users to track steps, monitor heart rate and heart rate variability, access detailed recovery insights, track sleep quality, and more. It also offers continuous heart rate monitoring and features like dual-band GPS for accurate route tracking.
The design of the Moto Watch pays homage to the Moto 360 models of the past, featuring a round 47mm case, an aluminum frame, and a stainless steel crown. It is IP68 and 1ATM rated for dust and water resistance and includes a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 front, built-in microphone, speaker, and Pantone-curated bands in metal and silicone options.
While the Moto Watch may lack premium features like Google Gemini and a brighter display, it does come with an OLED panel, although detailed specs have not been announced. It faces competition from other budget smartwatches like the CMF Watch 3 Pro, Huawei Watch Fit 4, and Amazfit Active 2.
Motorola aims to position the Moto Watch as one of the top budget-friendly smartwatches on the market, alongside the newly announced Pebble Round 2. The company also unveiled the Motorola Signature and Razr Fold at CES 2026.
