The upcoming Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is generating a lot of buzz in the tech world, with one key feature standing out – its impressive battery life. Leaks from the Chinese telecommunications certification authority, TENAA, have revealed that the Razr 60 Ultra will come equipped with a dual-cell battery boasting capacities of 1,090mAh and 3,185mAh, totaling around 4,275mAh. This significant increase in battery capacity, estimated to be around 4,500mAh in typical usage, marks a 12.5% improvement over its predecessor, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra.

In addition to the enhanced battery, the Razr 60 Ultra will also support faster 68W wired charging, up from 45W, ensuring that users can quickly top up their device when needed. This combination of a larger battery and faster charging capabilities is a promising development for foldable smartphones, addressing one of the common pain points of these devices – limited battery life.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra was well-received for its overall performance and design, with its battery life being deemed impressive for a flip phone. However, with the Razr 60 Ultra set to raise the bar even further in terms of stamina, it signals a positive shift in the industry towards longer-lasting foldable devices. This trend is further reinforced by rumors surrounding other upcoming foldable phones, such as the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 with a rumored 5100mAh battery.

Aside from its battery improvements, the Razr 60 Ultra is expected to feature a large 6.96-inch internal OLED display, a 4-inch external OLED screen, and a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The device is also rumored to sport a dual 50MP camera system, ensuring top-notch photography capabilities.

With leaks hinting at various color options and finishes for the Razr 60 Ultra, including a wooden finish and unique Pantone shades, it’s clear that Motorola is aiming for a stylish and premium device with this upcoming release. While an official launch date is yet to be confirmed, based on the timeline of the previous model, the Razr 60 Ultra may still be several months away from hitting the market. As anticipation builds for its release, more leaks and details are expected to surface, providing tech enthusiasts with a closer look at what the Razr 60 Ultra has to offer.
