MSNBC Live Returns for a Second Year with Exciting Changes
After a successful inaugural event, “MSNBC Live” is set to make a comeback for its second year. The cable-news outlet, which is undergoing a transition as part of the new publicly-traded entity, Versant, will host “MSNBC Live ’25: This Is Who We Are” on October 11 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan. This year’s event promises more of the network’s anchors in attendance and a more affordable base ticket price for attendees.
The event will feature two sessions, a lunch and seated dinner, where MSNBC hosts and guests will engage with the audience. Notable personalities like Nicolle Wallace, Mika Brzezinski, Joe Scarborough, and Jacob Soboroff, who were absent last year, are expected to participate.
Lauren Peikoff, executive producer of events for MSNBC, emphasizes the importance of connecting with audiences beyond traditional linear platforms. The network aims to cater to viewers across various digital mediums, from TikTok to social media. Hosting live events like “MSNBC Live” helps MSNBC build a stronger revenue stream and engage with its audience in a more personal way.
MSNBC’s event follows the success of similar conferences like “BravoCon” and CNN’s “Citizen” events. These gatherings bring together network personalities and viewers for insightful discussions and interactive experiences. MSNBC’s lineup for the event includes popular hosts like Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell, and Ari Melber, among others.
Tickets for “MSNBC Live ’25” will go on sale on July 28, with prices starting at $100, a decrease from the previous year. Attendees can expect more engagement opportunities with anchors and journalists, such as selfies, Q&A sessions, and exclusive merchandise. The event aims to strengthen the bond between viewers and MSNBC personalities, creating a unique and memorable experience for all.
