Several individuals sustained injuries when a bus transporting students and chaperones from various Bronx high schools crashed near Lake George on Sunday morning, authorities and reports indicated.
The accident occurred when the tour bus veered off the road and collided with several trees, an outbuilding, a boat, and a vehicle. This incident took place near Lake Shore Drive and Diamond Point Road shortly after 11:10 a.m., according to a statement from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office to The Post.
WABC reported that the bus was carrying 17 students and six adults from various Bronx high schools.
According to the police, four passengers along with the bus driver were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.
The remaining individuals on the bus were taken to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, where they received assistance from the American Red Cross while awaiting transportation.

The number of students among the injured is still unknown.
The incident is currently under investigation.
