WME, a leading talent agency, has recently added NASCAR legend Jimmie Johnson to their roster of clients. Johnson, a seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, has chosen WME to represent him in all areas of his career, including team ownership, brand partnerships, entrepreneurial ventures, and media projects such as his Sirius XM podcast, “Never Settle,” which he co-hosts with Marty Smith.
With five consecutive NASCAR Cup Series titles between 2006 and 2010, Johnson is widely regarded as one of the greatest drivers in motorsports history. His seven Cup wins tie him for the most ever by a driver, and he has a total of 83 career wins, including two Daytona 500 victories. Johnson has been a fixture in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs since its inception in 2004, setting records for the most consecutive and total playoff appearances.
In addition to his racing success, Johnson has also dabbled in the entertainment industry, making appearances in films, TV series, and even lending his voice to animated characters. Currently, Johnson competes part-time in the No. 84 Toyota Camry XSE for Legacy Motor Club, a racing entity in which he also holds an ownership stake. WME will provide strategic representation for both Johnson and the racing team.
A lifelong racer, Johnson’s career began with motorcycles as a child before transitioning to off-road and stock-car racing. His journey eventually led him to NASCAR, where he has made a name for himself as one of the sport’s most accomplished drivers.
With his partnership with WME, Johnson is poised to expand his influence and explore new opportunities both on and off the racetrack. His collaboration with the agency is sure to open doors for exciting ventures and projects in the future.
