As we observe National Consumer Protection Week, it is crucial to reaffirm our commitment to safeguarding the rights of American consumers, promoting transparency, and fostering a thriving economy.
Ensuring the protection of Americans’ personal information, financial transactions, and data privacy is essential for their participation in the dynamic marketplace and safeguarding against potential fraud and cybersecurity threats.
In line with the goal of protecting consumer rights and bolstering America’s position in the global digital landscape, significant steps have been taken to combat regulatory barriers hindering the growth of cryptocurrency. Additionally, efforts have been made to enhance transparency in prescription drug pricing through the implementation of an Executive Order aimed at providing accurate information in drug advertisements.
