New Video Shows Moment Delta Flight Crash Lands at Toronto Airport

New footage has emerged capturing the harrowing moment a Delta Air Lines flight crash-landed, resulting in an immediate impact and explosion as soon as the plane touched down.

Exclusive video obtained by TMZ shows the Delta commercial plane attempting to land at Toronto Pearson Airport. The footage depicts the aircraft skidding upon landing and erupting into a massive fireball instantaneously.

A thick plume of black smoke engulfs the fuselage as the plane appears to start tipping over before disappearing behind the smoke.

The Delta Flight 4819 had its landing gear deployed as it made the landing attempt. However, the treacherous weather conditions, with the runway covered in snow and ice, posed significant challenges.

Following the crash landing, Delta Flight 4819 skidded across the runway, resulting in the loss of one of its wings before eventually coming to a stop in an inverted position.

The flight was en route from Minneapolis to Toronto. Remarkably, all 80 passengers and crew members onboard survived the ordeal and were successfully evacuated.

Delta Airlines reported that at least 18 individuals sustained injuries, with one individual being airlifted to a hospital in critical condition. Despite a child also being in critical condition, both individuals fortunately did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

Passenger John Nelson recounted his experience to CNN, describing the turbulent landing as the plane veered off to the right, erupted into flames on one side, and eventually flipped upside down.

The footage captures passengers and crew members evacuating from the overturned plane through both the front and rear exits, fleeing down the snow-covered tarmac as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.
