In a turn of events that has sent ripples through New York City’s affluent circles, the Gateway Pundit has reported that some Jewish residents are contemplating leaving the city following the Democratic primary victory of Zohran Mamdani, who has been labeled a “communist Muslim” by critics.

Shortly after Mamdani’s win, real estate brokers in the city noted a surge in inquiries from those eager to escape the urban landscape, reflecting a palpable sense of dread among potential buyers regarding the implications of his leadership.

Concerns are mounting over the prospect of Mamdani taking charge of one of the world’s most iconic cities. The New York Post reports:

Wealthy New Yorkers Seeking to Flee Following Zohran Mamdani’s Primary Win

Within moments of Mamdani securing the Democratic nomination on Tuesday night, real estate agents, including noted broker Ryan Serhant, were inundated with calls from clients reconsidering their real estate investments in the city. There is now a growing trend among high-end buyers to seek properties outside New York.

“My top priority is going to be relocating people from New York to Florida. Again,” Serhant remarked. “Given the election results, we can expect clients to delay any investments in New York City.”

A client who had just made an offer on a Chelsea apartment wasted no time in communicating her change of heart, emailing her broker moments after former Governor Cuomo acknowledged Mamdani’s victory: “We will pause our search until there’s more clarity about the mayoral race,” she wrote.

A Manhattan entrepreneur, who already parts with a staggering 50% of her income in taxes, began contemplating relocation almost immediately. “Where can we go?” she queried.

“People are genuinely frightened, and in the coming months, many will likely consider South Florida again — interest may rise to pandemic levels,” Zeder noted. “These are individuals who have the means to move relatively easily.”

It appears that the implications of this election are becoming increasingly clear.

If this guy wins, I bet y’all the New York Stock Exchange and every major hedge fund moves to Florida within the next four years. Crime will skyrocket. The people who created wealth in New York City will flee his socialist policies and MANY jobs will leave too. Total disaster. https://t.co/JiAgTuUDau

If Mamdani prevails in November, the outlook for NYC could be dire.
