Sunday Rose, the 17-year-old daughter of celebrity power couple Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, recently opened up about her life in Nashville in a candid interview with Nylon. Despite growing up in the spotlight, Sunday has managed to maintain a sense of normalcy in her upbringing in the evolving city of Nashville.
Reflecting on her experience growing up in Nashville, Sunday shared, “The city has changed so much over the years, but it’s been nice to grow up in more of a small town than a big city. I will have time to experience that in life, whether it’s during college or later, so I like that I’ve gotten to grow up in a city that has a bit of a slower pace. It also makes it really exciting to travel for work to places like Paris or New York.”
While Sunday’s parents are household names in the entertainment industry, she values the opportunity to make a first impression based on who she is rather than her family’s fame. She admitted, “When people my age meet me, they normally don’t know anything about my life, which is sort of wonderful because I am able to make a first impression based on who I am and not who my family is.”
Sunday also revealed her close relationship with her mother, Nicole Kidman, sharing a glimpse into their bond. She humorously mentioned, “Oh gosh, if I had to pick one it would be impossible. I take everything from my mom’s closet. I sometimes joke with her that it’s my favorite store.”
Nicole Kidman has expressed her admiration for her daughters, emphasizing the importance of their relationship. She shared, “I sit on their beds and discuss the most intimate things; I get to be their guide. If they want to tell me to be quiet, they can. I’m able to apologize to them. I’m able to stand up to them. I very much like the relationship we have. It’s nice to be able to say that.”
In 2024, Sunday made her runway debut at Paris Fashion Week, modeling for Miu Miu. Despite not being present at the show, Kidman expressed her pride and support for her daughter. She recounted the moment, saying, “I was just like, ‘You got this baby.’ I’m trying to give her her own space, you know? [Not be] overbearing or dominant in any way.” Keith Urban also showered Sunday with praise, stating, “I thought she did great.”
