A Wisconsin teenager, Nikita Casap, has been accused of a heinous crime that shocked the nation. According to federal authorities, the 17-year-old allegedly murdered his mother and stepfather in order to gain the resources needed to carry out a plan to assassinate President Trump and overthrow the US government. The gruesome details of the case have left many questioning the motives and mental state of the young man.
Nikita Casap was arrested in March and charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of hiding a corpse after the bodies of his mother, Tatiana Casap, and stepfather, Donald Mayer, were found in their Waukesha home. The bodies had been concealed under blankets for weeks, with multiple gunshot wounds indicating a violent end for the couple.
Court documents revealed that Nikita Casap had allegedly written documents outlining his plan to assassinate President Trump and start a revolution to “save the white race.” The FBI reviewed these writings, which included references to Adolf Hitler and extremist ideologies. The teen had also been in contact with other individuals who were aware of his intentions and may have provided assistance in carrying out the plan.
Further investigation uncovered material on Casap’s phone related to a group known as “The Order of Nine Angles,” described as a network of individuals with neo-Nazi beliefs. In addition to the murder charges, the teenager is facing allegations of theft and misappropriation of identity for financial gain. Authorities are considering federal charges of conspiracy, presidential assassination, and the use of weapons of mass destruction in connection with the case.
The discovery of the bodies came after a welfare check was conducted at the family home, prompted by Casap’s prolonged absence from school. His mother was found buried under clothes and blankets in the hallway, while his stepfather was discovered in the office with a fatal gunshot wound. Both bodies were severely decomposed, making identification challenging for investigators.
Nikita Casap appeared in court for a preliminary hearing on his state charges in April, where he did not enter a plea and remains in custody. He is scheduled to be arraigned on May 7, where the full extent of his alleged crimes will be addressed. The shocking nature of the case has left the community reeling and seeking answers as to what could drive a teenager to commit such violent acts.
