Ninja has recently launched its newest air fryer, the Crispi, in the UK. Known for their high-quality air fryers, Ninja has taken a different approach with the Crispi. Unlike their traditional models, the Crispi is a modular appliance with interchangeable, multifunctional parts.

The key component of the Crispi is the plug-in frying lid called the Crispi Power Pod. This innovative design allows users to attach the Power Pod to the top and insert a crisper plate into one of two tempered glass dishes – one with a 1.4L capacity for sides and another with a 3.8L capacity for mains. The larger dish can accommodate a 1.2kg chicken, while the smaller one is perfect for a single serving. Both dishes have heatproof bases, allowing for direct cooking on kitchen counters.

Additionally, the Crispi kit includes two BPA-free plastic lids for the glass dishes, making it convenient for storing food. The Crispi offers four cooking modes – air fry, roast, keep warm, and "recrisp" (reheat) – with a maximum temperature of 185°C and a power output of 1700W. Its compact dimensions of 34.5 x 30.4 x 34cm (HxWxD) make it a versatile addition to any kitchen.

In terms of aesthetics, the Crispi comes in three unique color options: sage, cyber space blue, and stone. Priced at £179.99, the Crispi is available for purchase from various retailers such as Amazon, Currys, and Argos in the UK. It is also available in the US for $179.99 through Ninja Kitchen and Amazon.

Here are five standout features of the Crispi that set it apart from other air fryers:

  1. You Can Store the Crispi in a Cupboard: Unlike traditional air fryers that take up valuable counter space, the Crispi’s modular design allows for easy stacking and storage in a cupboard, eliminating clutter in the kitchen.
  2. You Can Use It on the Go: The portable nature of the Crispi, with its lightweight Power Pod lid and leakproof glass containers, makes it convenient for cooking meals on the go, whether at work or while traveling.
  3. You Can Serve Food Straight From It: The Crispi’s glass cooking dishes are designed for easy serving and can be brought directly to the table. The dishes also have easy-grip handles for safe transportation.
  4. You Can Use It as a Container: With snap-on lids for the glass dishes, leftovers can be stored in the fridge, reducing the need for additional storage containers.
  5. You Can Use It Right on Your Countertop: The Crispi’s heat-resistant design allows for safe use on various surfaces, while the glass containers act as viewing windows to monitor the cooking process.

Overall, the Ninja Crispi offers a unique and versatile cooking experience with its modular design and innovative features. Whether you’re looking to save space, cook on the go, or simplify meal prep, the Crispi is a convenient and efficient option for air frying enthusiasts.
