The mainstream media suggested that the third No Kings protest might struggle to maintain its momentum. However, No Kings not only met this challenge but exceeded it.

According to organizers, despite 100 protests still to occur, attendance estimates have already surpassed 8 million people:

Before the protests began, organizers anticipated up to 9 million participants. Although the final numbers are still pending, it is likely they achieved or even exceeded this target.

The news is troubling for Republicans and media outlets that have aligned with Trump, as the No Kings movement continues to expand. This protest against the president and his party is gaining traction.

Watch my discussion about the No Kings protest:

It is important to correct a misconception: the No Kings protest is not the largest single-day political protest in U.S. history. That distinction belongs to Earth Day 1970, which drew 20 million participants.

The achievements of No Kings are remarkable, but the mainstream media seem to be shifting the narrative, attempting to frame the movement as a failure by altering its definition. This highlights a need to differentiate between a political and a protest movement.

The media also appear to misunderstand the core purpose of the No Kings protests.
