Nothing has recently teased a glimpse of its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3), and it appears to be a device that will compete with the best in the market.
During a recent Android Show: I/O Edition stream, Nothing CEO Carl Pei provided a sneak peek into the innovative design work being done at the London-based company. He also gave a brief preview of the highly anticipated Nothing Phone (3).
While the actual device was kept under wraps, Pei did share some intriguing details, including the announcement that the phone is set to launch this summer.
Nothing Phone (3) – A Genuine Flagship
According to Pei, the Nothing Phone (3) will be Nothing’s “first true flagship smartphone,” boasting “premium materials, significant performance enhancements, and software that takes things to the next level.”
However, this increase in quality will come with a substantial price increase – one that is expected to be quite significant.

Pei mentioned that the Nothing Phone (3) is expected to be priced around £800 (approximately $1,070). While this places it at the lower end of flagship smartphone pricing, it still represents a £200 increase over the previous Nothing Phone (2), which was priced at £579 / $599 upon its release in 2024.
Mind the Gap, Nothing
This significant price jump also means that there will be a substantial gap between the flagship Nothing Phone (3) and the current mid-range offering, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, which starts at £449.
Despite the price increase, there is a sense of anticipation surrounding the Nothing Phone (3) and what it will bring to the flagship smartphone arena. Nothing has established itself as a brand focused on innovative design in the budget and mid-range segments, so it will be intriguing to see how they utilize a larger budget to push the boundaries of smartphone technology.
