Carlos Alcaraz recently took a well-deserved break in Ibiza following his epic victory at the French Open. As he prepares for Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic has shared his thoughts on the young Spaniard’s holiday getaway.

The intense battle between Alcaraz and World No.1 Jannik Sinner at the Roland Garros finals captivated audiences worldwide. Alcaraz made a remarkable comeback from a two-set deficit to claim victory in a thrilling five-hour and 29-minute match. To celebrate his triumph, the talented player jetted off to Ibiza for a few days of relaxation with friends.

During a practice session on the Centre Court at Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic commended Alcaraz’s vacation, stating, “Whatever he is doing in Ibiza, it is working. He always wins before and after Ibiza.” Alcaraz, on the other hand, explained that the trip was essential for recharging his batteries both physically and mentally before the grass season.

Looking ahead, Alcaraz will be aiming for his second consecutive Grand Slam title at Wimbledon, while Djokovic seeks to further solidify his status as the most decorated tennis player in history.

In addition to praising Alcaraz, Djokovic also lauded the French Open final between Alcaraz and Sinner as a historic match. Despite the different playing surface at Wimbledon, Djokovic acknowledged the incredible display of skill and determination showcased by both players in Paris.

As Wimbledon 2025 approaches, Alcaraz will be striving for his third consecutive victory at the prestigious event, while Djokovic will be vying for his first Grand Slam title in nearly two years.

The remarkable performances of Alcaraz and Sinner at the French Open have set the stage for an exciting Wimbledon tournament, with fans eagerly anticipating the clash of tennis titans on the grass courts.
