Two Men Stabbed Aboard Southbound 7 Train in NYC
Early Sunday morning, two young men in their 20s were stabbed aboard a southbound 7 train, leaving one in critical condition, as reported by the NYPD.
One of the victims sustained a stab wound to the face, while the other was stabbed in the chest during the incident that occurred around 12:30 a.m.
Following the attack, a suspect was apprehended, and a weapon was recovered at the scene in Woodside Station on Roosevelt Avenue and 61st Street, according to police sources.
Both victims were rushed to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment. The man with the chest wound is currently in critical condition, while the man stabbed in the face is in serious but stable condition.
Authorities have not disclosed the motive behind the attack or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
The NYPD has confirmed that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
