Two Scooter-Riding Muggers Attack Elderly Woman in Brooklyn
Over the weekend, a shocking incident occurred in Brooklyn when two individuals on scooters attempted to steal an elderly woman’s purse, causing her to fall and injure herself. The victim, an 88-year-old woman, was walking on 50th Street near Fifth Avenue in Sunset Park around 4 p.m. on Sunday when the perpetrators, a man and a woman, targeted her.
The violent duo grabbed hold of the woman’s purse, pulling her to the ground and causing her to sustain facial fractures and damaged teeth in the process. Despite the ordeal, the brave senior managed to retain possession of her purse.
Following the incident, the victim was taken to Maimonides Medical Center for treatment, where she is currently in stable condition. The suspects, who were seen riding razor scooters, are still at large, prompting the police to release photos of the pair in the hopes of apprehending them.

The male suspect is described as having a dark complexion, wearing a black ski-mask, black âRaidersâ T-shirt, black pants, and white and red sneakers. The female suspect is described as having a dark complexion, wearing a black and white head-covering, blue sports bra, and gray sweatpants.
