A security guard at a luxury Manhattan store for a global clothing and skateboard brand was attacked on the neck by an aggressive individual who attempted to cut in line on Friday morning, according to police and sources.

The 30-year-old victim was positioned outside the Palace Skateboard Apparel shop on Howard Street near Mercer Street in SoHo shortly after 11 a.m. when a queue began to form, law enforcement sources reported.

Without warning, a disturbed man tried to bypass the line. When the security guard challenged him, the attacker slashed the guard’s neck, according to officials and sources.

The guard was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where his condition is expected to be stable, according to reports.

The suspect, described as wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants, and a black hat, fled in a Honda, police said.

As of now, no arrests have been made.

The incident occurred as the Manhattan store of the fashionable London-based streetwear and skateboard brand was marking the launch of its spring collection.

The products are known for their vibrant colors, drawing inspiration from 1990s aesthetics and featuring sportswear elements, according to the company’s website.
