Pei Chung, the accused serial dine-and-dash diva, is causing quite a stir in Brooklyn. The 34-year-old was recently ordered to undergo a psych evaluation by a judge after her attorney claimed she doesn’t understand the charges against her. Chung, known for her designer dud-flaunting ways and wannabe influencer status, has been making headlines for her habit of skipping out on restaurant tabs.

Her attorney, Henry Dechalus, requested the mental health evaluation during a court hearing, stating that Chung struggles to comprehend the charges against her. Despite her absence in court, Chung’s lawyer emphasized her difficulty in communicating and understanding the legal proceedings.

Judge Hemalee Patel granted the evaluation and scheduled a court date for Chung, who is currently being held at Rikers Island. This development is just the latest in the ongoing saga surrounding Chung, who has had multiple run-ins with the law for allegedly dining and dashing at various high-end eateries.

Restaurant workers at establishments like Francie, Lavender Lake, Motorino, and Peter Luger have recounted similar experiences with Chung. Posing as a food influencer and dressed in glamorous attire, she has managed to rack up quite the bill at these establishments. Despite her flashy appearance, Chung’s credit cards were often declined, and she resorted to offering social media posts or even proposing sex in exchange for payment.

Chung’s alleged non-spending spree finally caught up with her, leading to her arrest and subsequent bail set at $4,500. Immigration authorities are also investigating whether she overstayed her student visa from Taiwan. Currently held at Rikers Island, Chung is far from the lavish meals she once enjoyed, as the Thanksgiving menu there offers a modest spread of roast turkey and bread dressing.

The dine-and-dash diva’s antics have garnered attention both online and in the legal system, painting a picture of a woman who may be in over her head. As the saga continues to unfold, all eyes are on Pei Chung and the outcome of her psych evaluation.
