Six People Slashed in Southern Brooklyn Attack
On a Sunday morning in southern Brooklyn, a horrifying attack left six people slashed and in need of hospitalization, according to police reports.
The incident took place on Fane Court, a small one-way street in the Gerritsen Beach neighborhood, around 6:20 a.m. Authorities responded to a call about multiple individuals being attacked by individuals armed with blades.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered six victims, each with varying degrees of injuries. Among them were a 30-year-old woman with a slash to her face, a 16-year-old girl with an arm wound, a 39-year-old woman with a hand injury, a 27-year-old man with slashes to his face, a 30-year-old man with neck and wrist wounds, and an 18-year-old man with a hand laceration.
All six victims were transported to various local hospitals for medical treatment.
Authorities have not disclosed a motive for the attack and no arrests have been made yet. The investigation is ongoing, and it remains unclear whether a suspect has been identified.
