Police in Manhattan are currently searching for a man accused of raping a 14-year-old girl in a building near First Avenue and First Avenue Loop near Gramercy Park. The suspect, Germaine Parham, 33, allegedly approached the teen around 11:42 a.m. and carried out the sexual assault before fleeing the scene with the girl’s cell phone.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment following the incident. Parham was last seen wearing a black-and-gray knit hat, gray face covering, white coat, camouflage pants, a camo backpack, and black boots.

The NYPD has released a mugshot of Parham and surveillance photos in hopes of identifying and locating the suspect. The public is urged to come forward with any information that may lead to Parham’s arrest.
