A new NYPD surveillance photo has emerged, capturing the suspect in the shooting of a 15-year-old boy on a rush-hour train in Queens. Sources indicate that the same teenager was previously shot two months ago by the suspect’s associate.

The incident occurred at approximately 6 p.m. on Monday when the young victim was shot in the neck and back aboard a northbound A train nearing 80th Street in Ozone Park, according to police reports.

Law enforcement sources revealed that the violence began when the teenager recognized another 15-year-old, who had previously shot him on February 7, traveling on the train with a friend.

Sources say the suspect in the subway shooting is a friend of another teen who shot the victim in February. NYPD

A confrontation ensued, leading the February shooter’s friend to grab a gun from his accomplice and fire at the rival teenager, sources said.

After the shooting, the pair fled the scene while the victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he remains in stable condition, authorities reported.

The surveillance footage depicts the suspect as having a medium build, medium complexion, and braided hair.

He was last observed wearing all-black clothing and gray sneakers.

The earlier shooting took place at approximately 4:55 p.m. on February 7, on Everdell Avenue near Gateway Boulevard in Far Rockaway, sources said.

During that incident, the teenage victim was shot in the leg amid a dispute, and the alleged gunman was apprehended 10 days later, sources added.

However, the victim became uncooperative and refused to testify, leading the district attorney’s office to drop the case, according to the sources.
