The latest addition to the OnePlus tablet lineup, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro, has finally been released in China. This highly anticipated device has been making waves in the tech community with its impressive specs and features. The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is the successor to the OnePlus Pad 2, which was launched back in mid-2024.
Available for purchase on Oppo’s website in China, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro comes with a starting price of 3,199 Chinese Yuan, which roughly translates to around £330. The relationship between OnePlus and Oppo runs deep, as Oppo is the parent company of OnePlus. In fact, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro shares many similarities with the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, including a 13.2-inch 144Hz LCD display with a resolution of 3,392 x 2,400.
Both tablets are powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, making them some of the most powerful non-Apple tablets on the market. With a 12140 mAh battery and 67W wired charging support, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro offers impressive battery life and fast charging capabilities. The tablet also features a 13MP camera and color spectrum sensor, along with running on ColorOS 15 UI, similar to its Oppo counterpart.
While the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro may seem like a rebranded version of the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, the lack of availability in the UK raises questions about its official launch in Western markets. Whether or not we will see the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro in the UK remains uncertain. Nevertheless, the tablet’s powerful performance and impressive features make it a strong contender in the tablet market. Stay tuned for updates on the global release of the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro.
