Hulu was a significant winner at this year’s CrimeCon Clue Awards, securing victories in two major categories. The series “Only Murders in the Building” was awarded outstanding scripted series, while “Girl on the Run: The Hunt for America’s Most Wanted” was recognized as the best docuseries.
These wins were part of the 2026 Clue Awards, announced on Saturday night at the CrimeCon event in Las Vegas. The ceremony, hosted by Chris Hansen, known for his time on “Dateline” and current role on “Takedown With Chris Hansen,” was part of the three-day CrimeCon held at Caesars Palace. This event honors true crime content across TV, film, podcasts, and publishing.
The Crimefighter of the Year award was given to Jeffrey Epstein survivors Jena-Lisa Jones, Haley Robson, and Courtney Wild, acknowledged for their contributions through The Survivors, Inc., which aids sexual assault survivors. The award was presented by 2025 honorees Becky Patty, Mike Patty, and Tara German, relatives of Abigail Williams and Liberty German.
Additionally, the 2026 “America’s Greatest Detective” title was awarded to Tara Augustin and Alyson Dupouy, detectives from Maryland’s Montgomery County PD, for their role in solving the Leslie Preer cold case.
