Cullen Capital Management, LLC, operating as Schafer Cullen Capital Management, Inc. (SCCM), recently shared its third-quarter investor letter outlining its “SCCM Value Equity Strategy.” The letter, which can be downloaded here, reported that the US equity market continued its upward trend in the third quarter, with the S&P 500 returning 8.1% and the Russell 1000 Value surging 5.3%. SCCM’s value equity strategy performed well, returning 6.9% (gross of fees) and 6.8% (net of fees) during the same period.

For the year-to-date (YTD) period, the strategy returned 13.0% (gross), outperforming the Russell 1000 Value’s +11.7% return and the S&P 500’s +14.8% return. Investors interested in SCCM’s top picks for 2025 can examine the fund’s top 5 holdings for insights.

In its Q3 2025 investor letter, SCCM Value Equity Strategy highlighted Oracle Corporation (NYSE: ORCL) as a key stock. Oracle offers products and services for enterprise information technology environments. The stock saw a one-month return of -19.13% but gained 15.59% over the last 52 weeks. As of November 18, 2025, Oracle’s stock closed at $220.49 per share, with a market capitalization of $628.57 billion.

SCCM Value Equity Strategy praised Oracle Corporation in its investor letter, noting the stock’s significant outperformance following the announcement of a $30 billion cloud services contract. The deal, nearly triple the size of Oracle’s current cloud infrastructure business, is expected to boost future revenue and validate the company’s aggressive cloud strategy. Additionally, anticipated spending on data center buildouts in the US contributed to a 35.9% increase in Micron shares.

While Oracle Corporation is not among the 30 Most Popular Stocks Among Hedge Funds, 124 hedge fund portfolios held the stock at the end of the second quarter. SCCM recognizes Oracle’s potential as an investment but suggests that certain AI stocks may offer greater upside potential with less downside risk.
