What a nail-biter of a game! The Otago Spirit managed to secure a thrilling 34-33 victory against Harbour at Forsyth Barr Stadium today.

Harbour had the upper hand for a significant part of the match, with Ella Henderson’s impressive run giving them hope of a win. However, Otago’s Sarah Jones and Abigail Paton had other plans, swinging the game back in their favor.

With Harbour launching wave after wave of attacks, Spirit captain Greer Muir’s defensive prowess played a crucial role in securing the win. Despite a moment of madness from Paton, Otago’s resilience shone through as they held off Harbour’s final onslaught.
