Hulu has announced the Season 2 premiere date for the hit drama series “Paradise”. The show will debut its first three episodes on Feb. 23, with new episodes being released weekly thereafter on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the US and Disney+ internationally. The exciting news was revealed during the show’s panel at Brazil Comic-Con.
The first teaser for Season 2 has also been released by Hulu, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come. In the teaser, Xavier (played by Sterling K. Brown) is shown in the aftermath of a plane crash, searching for his wife in the outside world.
The cast of Season 2 includes Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Enuka Okuma, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, and Charlie Evans. Additionally, recurring guest stars James Marsden, Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty, and Jon Beavers will make appearances throughout the season.
The official logline for Season 2 teases that Xavier will be searching for his wife Teri (played by Enuka Okuma) in the outside world, while back in Paradise, the social fabric begins to unravel as new secrets about the city’s origins are uncovered.
“Paradise” was renewed for a second season even before the first season had concluded, a testament to its strong viewership and reviews. The show was created by Dan Fogelman, who also serves as an executive producer. Sterling K. Brown is not only the star but also an executive producer on the show. Other executive producers include Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, Steve Beers, Glenn Ficarra, and John Requa, with 20th Television as the studio behind the series.
