Paris Hilton, the pop culture mogul, has been actively involved in helping those affected by the devastating Los Angeles fires, despite losing her Malibu home in the tragedy. Hilton’s non-profit organization, 11:11 Media Impact, managed to raise an impressive $800,000 in emergency relief funds within a span of 72 hours. Out of this amount, $150,000 has already been allocated to GoFundMe’s Wildfire Relief Fund to provide immediate cash assistance to 150 families in Altadena.

In a statement to Variety, Hilton expressed her deep empathy for those impacted by the wildfires and her determination to assist as many people as possible in a timely manner. The $150,000 grant to the GoFundMe Wildfire Relief Fund aims to offer direct financial aid to hundreds of families, enabling them to address their immediate needs and start rebuilding their lives without delay. Hilton emphasized that her team at 11:11 Media Impact will continue to support and stand by those affected by this tragic situation.

Despite facing personal loss with the destruction of her Malibu home, Hilton has been actively involved in amplifying the efforts of various non-profit organizations through social media. She dedicated time to volunteering at Baby2Baby, where she helped pack essential items for families in need, and also at the Pasadena Humane Society, where she fostered a dog named Zuzu, who was surrendered to the shelter due to the fires in Altadena.

Furthermore, Hilton’s call to action for volunteers at Project Angel Food garnered an overwhelming response of 8,000 volunteers within just 48 hours, a significant increase from the 3,800 volunteers enlisted in the entirety of 2024. This surge in volunteer support highlights the community’s willingness to come together and help those in need during times of crisis.

On January 9, Hilton shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram that she and her husband, Carter Reum, had lost their beloved Malibu home to the fires. She expressed profound sorrow at witnessing their home burn down on live TV, a place where they had created cherished memories with their children, Phoenix and London.

Paris Hilton’s resilience and commitment to aiding others in the face of adversity serve as an inspiration to many. Despite her own personal loss, she continues to extend a helping hand to those affected by the wildfires, embodying the spirit of compassion and community support in times of crisis.
