Expressing his frustration with the lack of action on gun violence, Guttenberg criticized former President Donald Trump for his response to the shootings and for undoing progress made on gun control during President Joe Biden’s tenure.
He specifically called out Trump for shuttering the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention and rolling back actions on gun control implemented by Biden. Guttenberg condemned Trump’s inaction and expressed his disappointment at the lack of meaningful change to address gun violence.
