PETA Sends Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco Vegan ‘Vegas Caviar’ Wedding Gift

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are gearing up to tie the knot this weekend, and PETA has enthusiastically RSVP’d with an eco-friendly wedding present that oozes luxury without a touch of cruelty.

According to our sources at TMZ, PETA has sent the couple a chic vegan rendition of Benny’s favorite delicacy – a decadent chips-and-caviar arrangement. This lavish gift basket features Lay’s chips, a recipe for dairy-free crème fraîche, fresh chives, and a plant-based caviar alternative by Cavi-art.

PETA accompanied their gift with a cheeky letter highlighting that Selena has previously voiced her dislike for traditional fish eggs on her show “Selena + Chef.” The organization quipped that this delightful alternative might just have her singing, “I Can’t Get Enough.”

PETA’s Senior VP Lisa Lange expressed, “These days, virtually anything can be transformed into a vegan version. This animal-conscious adaptation of Benny’s beloved dish will ensure that no creatures are harmed as they embark on this exciting new chapter.”

PETA pointed out that sturgeon, the fish often killed for high-priced caviar, are not only ancient “living dinosaurs” that have survived multiple mass extinctions, but they are also endangered due to the caviar industry. By avoiding traditional caviar, not only are animals spared, but the planet benefits as well, and it could even lower health risks.
