NBC’s hit show, “The Hunting Party,” is back for Season 2 with a star-studded lineup of guest stars. Melissa Roxburgh leads the cast, with Piper Perabo, Kevin McHale, John Corbett, and Jeff Dunham joining in for some thrilling episodes.
In Episode 209, airing on April 9, Perabo takes on the role of Colette Akins, a woman with a dark past working in a family mortuary business. Her exposure to chemicals has led her to develop auditory psychosis, turning her into a serial killer on the loose. She is on a mission to find a particular voice, no matter the cost.
McHale steps into the spotlight in Episode 211 on April 23 as Dylan Myles, a struggling ventriloquist with a deadly secret. Armed with his beloved Figures, Dylan seeks revenge on hecklers in the comedy world. Joining him in this episode is Dunham, playing the victim Jeff Dudley, a renowned ventriloquist who becomes the target of Dylan’s sinister plans.
The Season 2 finale, Episode 213 on May 7, features Corbett as Xander Wax, a serial poisoner with a mysterious agenda that captures the attention of the team. His unconventional methods and unpredictable patterns push the investigators to their limits as they unravel his plans.
“The Hunting Party” follows Rebecca “Bex” Henderson (Roxburgh), a former FBI profiler now part of a team tasked with capturing dangerous serial killers who have escaped from “The Pit,” a secret government prison. Patrick Sabongui, Josh McKenzie, and Sara Garcia also star in the series, created by JJ Bailey and co-showrun by Jake Coburn. Thor Freudenthal directs, with Michael Jones Morales as writer and executive producer. The show is produced by Universal Television.
