Powerlifting influencer Stefi Cohen was recently arrested for domestic violence in Miami. This arrest comes more than a year after she faced charges for unauthorized access to a computer, sexual cyberharassment, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest without violence.
Cohen, known as Dr. Stefi Cohen on her Instagram page with over 1 million followers, allegedly accessed her ex-boyfriend’s laptop in March 2022. She found nude photos of his new girlfriend and shared them in a group chat with the woman and others. The victim reported feeling exposed and humiliated by Cohen’s actions.
After the incident was reported to Miami detectives in November 2023, Cohen was arrested at her home in Coconut Grove in May 2024. During the arrest, she resisted and even physically struggled with officers, causing one to be swept off his feet.
Apart from her legal troubles, Cohen is a successful boxer with a record of 4-1-1, with her most recent fight occurring in June 2023. She is also a renowned powerlifter, holding multiple world records in the 123-pound weight class for squat, total, and deadlift categories.
Cohen competed in powerlifting competitions from 2015 to 2020, showcasing her strength and skill in the sport. She was previously in a relationship with fellow influencer Tristan Hamm, who has a substantial following on Instagram.
Despite her athletic achievements, Cohen’s recent legal issues have overshadowed her accomplishments in the fitness world. It remains to be seen how this arrest will impact her career and public image moving forward.
