Donald Trump
Launches the ‘MIGA’ Movement in Iran
Is it Time to Overthrow the Ayatollah???

Published June 22, 2025 3:30 PM PDT

Former President Donald Trump has shifted his focus from “America First” to envisioning a new chapter in Iran’s history. Using a familiar slogan, he aims to shake up the status quo.

In the aftermath of a recent devastating bombing incident, Trump took to Truth Social to express unconventional ideas, including the concept of “Regime Change.”

Trump questions the current leadership in Iran, suggesting that if they fail to “MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN,” perhaps it’s time for a change in regime. Introducing the concept of MIGA – Make Iran Great Again!

While not explicitly calling for the overthrow of the regime, Trump hints at the possibility of a different future for Iran, especially concerning the role of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, however, clarified that the recent military action in Iran aimed solely at destroying nuclear facilities, not triggering regime change.

Despite the Defense Secretary’s stance, Trump seems eager to explore alternative possibilities, as evidenced by his bold statements to his vast audience.

The targeted bombing resulted in the complete obliteration of key nuclear sites, with aerial images showcasing visible damage to structures above the Fordow facility.

Considering the oppressive regime’s suppression of dissent, it’s unlikely that Iranian citizens will embrace slogans like “Make Iran Great Again.” Nonetheless, Trump’s subtle encouragement for internal change is evident.
