Being aware of storm forecasts and evacuation routes enables families to respond swiftly. These straightforward actions not only protect lives and homes but also fortify our Nation’s resilience for future generations.
State leaders, local governments, and community members are at the forefront of hurricane preparedness. With comprehensive support from the Federal Government, communities can allocate resources more effectively, streamline bureaucratic processes, and rebuild stronger and faster. Under my leadership, we are investing in those closest to these disasters to take preventive measures and drive recovery where it is most needed. Americans deserve a Government that safeguards their lives, addresses their needs in times of crisis, and invests in resources to prevent hurricane damage from devastating our Nation’s communities. We have significantly reduced the timelines to deliver funding to hurricane survivors, deploy FEMA responders to storm-affected areas, and complete essential debris removal efforts that families both need and deserve.
