Presidential Message on Nowruz, 2025

As spring unfurls its petals and the world awakens from winter’s slumber, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all who are celebrating the ancient festival of Nowruz, both here in the United States and across the globe.

Nowruz, a vibrant celebration esteemed particularly by the Persian community, heralds not only the arrival of spring but also the dawn of a new year in the Persian calendar. It is a moment steeped in tradition—a time for families to gather, to reflect on the past year’s blessings, and to embrace the future with a spirit brimming with hope and renewal.

The Persian people, with their rich cultural heritage and remarkable contributions in fields like mathematics, science, law, technology, and the arts, play a vital role in enriching our society. On behalf of the United States, I extend my warmest wishes for a joyous Nowruz celebration.
