Ultimately, the unwavering determination of America’s Armed Forces brought an empire to its knees, liberated millions from harsh occupation, and left the American Flag flying over a Pacific region restored to freedom.

Over 16 million Americans responded to the call to serve, with more than 400,000 sacrificing their lives on foreign shores to preserve our nation’s freedom.
