Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, the former Duke of York who has been embroiled in scandal over his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, is reportedly planning to flee to the Middle East amidst mounting legal and public scrutiny. According to insiders speaking to RadarOnline.com, the 65-year-old ex-royal is “100 percent certain” of relocating to Abu Dhabi, where he has been offered refuge in a luxurious $20 million villa within a secure royal compound owned by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The decision to move to Abu Dhabi comes in the wake of Andrew being stripped of his royal and peerage titles by King Charles III. The move was reportedly prompted by Andrew’s alleged refusal to show sympathy for Epstein’s victims in public statements. The Palace confirmed that he will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, with his Duke of York title erased from the Roll of Peerages.

The pressure on Andrew intensified recently when he received a summons from the U.S. House Oversight Committee to appear for a transcribed interview as part of their investigation into Epstein’s criminal network. The committee, led by Democratic officials, is seeking information on Andrew’s ties to Epstein and his associates. Committee chair Robert Garcia emphasized the importance of seeking justice for Epstein’s survivors and holding powerful men accountable.

The summons came after the committee discovered financial records linking Andrew to Epstein, raising serious questions about his involvement in the scandal. Lawmakers have made it clear that they are prepared to pursue contempt charges against Andrew if he tries to dodge questioning, even if he is outside the United States.

Andrew’s decision to flee to Abu Dhabi is seen as a strategic move to escape public scrutiny and controversy. The ex-royal has been haunted by the Epstein scandal since his disastrous 2019 interview with the BBC, where he denied allegations of sexual assault made by Virginia Giuffre. Although he settled a civil case with Giuffre in 2022, Andrew maintains his innocence.

Political figures in Britain have called on Andrew to cooperate with law enforcement officials and testify about his connections to Epstein. As of now, Andrew remains at Royal Lodge in Windsor under orders to vacate the property by the end of the year, a development that insiders say has only strengthened his resolve to disappear abroad.

In conclusion, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s decision to relocate to Abu Dhabi reflects his desire to escape the mounting legal and public pressure surrounding his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. The move comes after he was stripped of his royal titles and faced a congressional summons to testify about his connections to Epstein. As he prepares to leave the UK, Andrew’s future remains uncertain as he seeks refuge in the Middle East to evade further scrutiny.
