Princess Diana’s True Feelings Towards Prince Andrew Windsor Revealed
Recent revelations have shed light on Princess Diana’s true feelings towards Prince Andrew Windsor, the second son of Queen Elizabeth II. According to insiders, Diana was unsettled by Andrew’s sense of entitlement and believed that he resented not being the firstborn of the Queen’s sons.
One source stated that Diana felt Andrew carried a chip on his shoulder, which influenced how he treated people, especially those he considered beneath him. Royal biographer Tom Quinn also noted Andrew’s behavior, stating that he always behaved as if he was frustrated about not being the first-born and therefore destined to become king.
Quinn further elaborated that while Andrew could be loyal and supportive to his staff members, he often displayed imperious, bossy, and bad-tempered behavior if things did not go according to his liking.
Despite Diana’s negative feelings towards Andrew, royal biographer Ingrid Seward revealed that Queen Elizabeth II believed her second son might have been a better match for Diana due to their close ages. Diana, born in 1961, was only a year younger than Andrew, born in 1960, whereas Prince Charles, born in 1948, was significantly older.
Some of Diana’s friends even thought that Andrew would have been “more fun” for her, but Diana herself was not interested. In Seward’s book, “My Mother and I,” she emphasized that Diana’s true interest lay with Charles and not Andrew.
These revelations provide a glimpse into the complex dynamics within the royal family and Diana’s personal relationships with its members. Despite external perceptions and suggestions, Diana’s true feelings and priorities were centered around her relationship with Prince Charles.
