Cruz Beckham took the stage with his band, The Breakers, performing the song Loneliest Boy, which is believed to allude to the ongoing family estrangement involving his brother Brooklyn, aged 27.
Brooklyn, residing in the United States with his wife Nicola Peltz, a 31-year-old billionaire heiress, has severed ties with his parents and siblings, including Cruz, Romeo, and their 14-year-old sister Harper. This family discord intensified earlier this year when Brooklyn released a critical six-part Instagram post targeting his family.
During Cruz’s performance, the emotional tension was palpable in the audience. An onlooker noted: “Romeo was positioned on a barrier at the back of the theatre alongside David and Victoria, observing the performance quietly. However, when Cruz started playing Loneliest Boy, there was a noticeable shift in his demeanor.
“He appeared visibly affected, discreetly wiping his eyes as he struggled to maintain composure. Victoria promptly responded by leaning in and wrapping an arm around his shoulders, offering support and comfort.”
