The LA Art Book Fair (LAABF) is an annual event that has been running since 2013. This international gathering brings together artists’ book publishers to showcase their work, engage with a wide audience, and build and strengthen relationships within the creative community. The upcoming LAABF 2025 will be held from May 15 to 18 at a new venue: the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena. This new location offers a range of facilities including classrooms, exhibition spaces, archives, letterpress, and typographic studios, providing a unique opportunity for the fair to explore the educational and conversational possibilities of the art book format through special projects and collaborations.

The Opening Night celebration on Thursday, May 15, from 6 to 9 pm promises to be a lively event with music, festivities, a ticket edition by artist Mario Ayala, and an exclusive first look at the fair. Over 300 international and local artists’ book publishers will be featured at LAABF, offering a diverse range of programming including lectures, performances, and hands-on workshops.

For those interested in attending LAABF 2025, tickets can be purchased, programs can be registered for, and visits can be planned by visiting the official website at laabf2025.printedmatterartbookfairs.org. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of artists’ books and connect with a vibrant creative community.
