Will Ferrell Spotted in Disheveled Buddy the Elf Costume at LA Kings Game
Actor and comedian Will Ferrell made a surprise appearance at the Los Angeles Kings’ Crypto.com Arena on Sunday night, sporting a disheveled Buddy the Elf costume.
Ferrell, known for his role as Buddy in the 2003 Christmas comedy “Elf,” was seen looking rough and unkempt, with a beer in hand and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. The usually cheerful and childlike character appeared disgruntled, sporting a five-o’clock shadow.

FanDuel Sports Network reporter Carrlyn Bathe, who was covering the game, spoke to Ferrell, describing him as a “huge Kings fan” and a regular at the stadium. She noted that it was unusual to see him in such a state, mentioning his disheveled appearance.
According to Bathe, Ferrell mentioned that he had a tough holiday season and was hoping for a win from the Kings.
While it’s unclear if Ferrell was joking about his holiday season woes or if his appearance was meant to be comedic, some speculate that the actor’s recent behavior may be a result of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Ferrell, known for his comedic roles in films like “Anchorman,” “Talladega Nights,” “Step Brothers,” and “Elf,” as well as his more recent project “Barbie,” took a political stance in a November 3 Kamala Harris ad titled “That Means You.”
In the ad, Ferrell urged viewers to vote, emphasizing the importance of their individual votes in determining the outcome of the election. The message, delivered in Ferrell’s signature comedic style, aimed to encourage voter turnout.
