On Wednesday, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell declared that he had never encountered a presidential remark more “indicative of dementia” than a recent comment made by Donald Trump.
Opening his show, *The Last Word*, with a critical monologue, he challenged Trump’s cognitive faculties, questioning whether anyone could truly discern if the 79-year-old president was grappling with “dementia” after Trump speculated about the possibility of appointing himself as the Federal Reserve chair.
“If Donald Trump gets dementia, how will we know? His mental decline, which becomes increasingly apparent, began at such a low baseline that tracking it is nearly impossible.
