In a bizarre turn of events in Springfield Township, Ohio, a raccoon was found in possession of a meth pipe during a routine traffic stop, reminiscent of a Marvel superhero’s downfall.
Footage captured by a body camera shows a woman being pulled over by an officer who then discovers a raccoon sitting in the front seat with a glass cylinder in its hands.
The officer identified the object as a “meth pipe” and chuckled as the raccoon played with it, creating a surreal moment during the traffic stop.
Despite attempts to retrieve the pipe from the raccoon, the officer deemed it as evidence and proceeded to search the vehicle, uncovering a stash of methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
Named “Chewy” by authorities, the raccoon continued to amuse onlookers by grabbing another pipe and mimicking smoking gestures, leading to a comical yet concerning situation.
The woman, identified as 55-year-old Victoria Vidal, was arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, while authorities investigate the legality of keeping Chewy as a pet.
