Colin Allred, the former Texas Congressman, is gearing up for another bold attempt at the U.S. Senate seat.
In a recent announcement on the X platform, Allred positioned himself as a champion of the everyday Texan.
“Everything seems upside down. Those who follow the rules and remain hopeful can’t seem to catch a break,” Allred remarked. “Meanwhile, those who play fast and loose with the system? They’re thriving. Texans are working harder than ever, sacrificing precious time with their families just to afford less.”
“And who are the elected officials meant to help us? Politicians like John Cornyn and Ken Paxton are too entangled in corruption to care and too timid to advocate for us,” he added. “I recognize that Washington is dysfunctional. The system is rigged, but it doesn’t have to remain this way.”
“You deserve a representative who will truly advocate for you. I understand that real change may feel out of reach. But I refuse to back down.”
Washington is broken and the system is rigged – and Texas families are paying the price.
Today I’m announcing I’m running for the U.S. Senate because Texans deserve someone who will fight for them.

Allred previously raised over $90 million in his last campaign, buoyed by Democrats who believed he had the potential to unseat the incumbent Ted Cruz. However, he ultimately lost by more than eight points and nearly a million votes. His campaign even received a nod from the beleaguered ex-Congresswoman Liz Cheney—an endorsement that may have hurt his chances rather than helped them.
WOW!
1) Liz Cheney has now said she is endorsing Democrat Colin Allred over Ted Cruz for US Senate.
2) Dick Cheney is now voting for Kamala Harris over Trump.
BIG!

While Allred is likely to secure the Democratic nomination, the Republican primary is heating up. Texas Attorney General and MAGA stalwart Ken Paxton is challenging the incumbent, John Cornyn, who some label a ‘Republican In Name Only’ (RINO). Polling suggests that Paxton has a strong possibility of defeating Cornyn and leading the Republican ticket in the upcoming general election.
