Lil Durk Arrested in Florida for Murder-for-Hire
Rapper Lil Durk has found himself in hot water as he was arrested in Florida for murder-for-hire. The news was first reported by TMZ, revealing that several members of the Chicago-based OTF crew, with whom Durk has ties, were charged with the slaying of rapper Quando Rondo’s cousin.
Durk was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals and booked into the Broward County Jail on Thursday night. He is currently being held without bail as the details of his arrest have not been released to the public.
This arrest comes after the federal authorities busted five OTF members in connection with the August 2022 shooting in Los Angeles that resulted in the death of Quando Rondo’s cousin. All individuals involved have been charged in a federal indictment with conspiracy to commit murder for hire.
The feds have stated that the crime was committed in retaliation for the death of rapper King Von in Atlanta four years ago. King Von was fatally shot in November 2020 by a member associated with Quando Rondo, namely Lul Timm. Initially, Timm was charged with the murder, but the case was later dismissed.
The situation is still developing, and more information is expected to come to light. Stay tuned for updates on this ongoing story.
