A shocking lawsuit has been filed by a Real Housewives star against Bravo and the production company of the show, alleging victimization by a fellow castmate. The lawsuit, filed by Real Housewives of Atlanta star Brittany Eady, accuses Bravo Media LLC and Truly Original LLC of exploiting a traumatic incident involving Eady and her castmate, Kenya Moore.
According to the lawsuit documents, Moore allegedly published a photo in June 2024 depicting a woman engaging in a graphic sexual act and claimed that the woman in the photo was Eady. Eady claims that Bravo and Truly Original made the decision to exploit the situation at her expense, pressuring her to discuss the incident on camera and even suggesting that she would have to continue filming alongside Moore in future seasons.
The legal paperwork reveals that the production company planned to capitalize on Moore’s alleged harassment of Eady during Season 16 and intended to do so again in Season 17. As a result, Eady is seeking punitive damages against both defendants, as well as compensatory damages to cover her economic losses and emotional distress caused by the ordeal.
In a twist of events, reports suggest that Moore was suspended and eventually fired from the show for her actions, which were deemed to violate the show’s code of conduct. Production reportedly decided not to bring Moore back and ceased filming with her due to the severity of the situation.
Eady’s decision not to attend the Season 16 reunion taping further underscores her dissatisfaction with how Bravo handled the incident involving Moore. The lawsuit sheds light on the alleged toxic environment within the Real Housewives franchise and the measures taken by the network to address misconduct among its cast members.
