Retired NFL star Ryan Clark recently criticized the White House for releasing propaganda videos promoting President Donald Trump’s war in Iran. Clark expressed his disapproval on his podcast “The Pivot,” stating that war should not be portrayed as a sport, especially when there are families who have sacrificed their loved ones for the country’s rights and freedoms.

The White House faced backlash for incorporating real footage of missile strikes against Iran with clips from football highlights, video games, movies, and TV shows, with some critics arguing that it trivialized the seriousness of war. Actor Ben Stiller also condemned the use of his clip from “Tropic Thunder” in the video without permission, emphasizing that war is not a form of entertainment.

Clark, echoing Stiller’s sentiments, expressed disappointment at seeing his football highlight clip in the White House video, emphasizing that war should not be equated to sports or entertainment. Pro Football Hall of Famer Ray Lewis also spoke out against the video, highlighting the stark difference between the discipline and respect in football compared to the gravity of war.

Clark criticized the White House for its lack of professionalism and legitimacy, calling the video featuring NFL players “disgusting and despicable.” He emphasized that the leadership’s disregard for public opinion reflects a concerning trend in current governance.

In conclusion, Clark emphasized the need for leadership that values decorum and character, expressing his frustration at the current state of affairs. Despite the White House’s actions, he stressed the importance of standing firm in one’s beliefs and not succumbing to pressure from those in power. following sentence: “I want to go to the store to buy some groceries.”
