'RHOP' Wendy Osefo Claims Alleged Home Burglary Was 'Targeted' In Resurfaced Clip

Authorities assert that ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ star Dr. Wendy Osefo may not be telling the whole truth about her reported home burglary. Despite this, she reaffirmed her allegations during a podcast appearance several months post-incident.

In September 2024, Wendy joined the “Gabbing With Gib” podcast where she discussed the purported burglary we initially covered back in April 2024. This discussion is resurfacing now amidst new charges against her for fraud.

During the podcast interview, Wendy shared her belief that she was “specifically targeted” by the alleged thieves.

However, law enforcement officials revealed that Wendy and her husband falsely reported the burglary, allegedly to commit insurance fraud.

Investigating officers claim they found that Wendy had returned items she reported as stolen and had even shared a picture online featuring a ring she alleged had been taken. Furthermore, it’s noted that the Osefos possess a home security system that showed no evidence of a break-in.

A spokesperson for Wendy stated to TMZ, “The Osefos, along with their legal representation, await their court date. They kindly request privacy while they concentrate on their family and the legal proceedings ahead.”
