Ashley Darby is keeping the details under wraps about Mauricio Umansky‘s upcoming feature on The Real Housewives of Potomac.
“He’s quite the charmer,” Ashley, 37, playfully remarked to Us Weekly on Monday, October 6, while celebrating season 10 of the popular Bravo series. “That guy has a way about him.”
Could he be charming enough that Gizelle Bryant might find herself drawn to Kyle Richards’ estranged partner during the filming?
“I’m not sure,” Ashley added. “I believe they have a prior connection. There might be more history there than I’m aware of.”
With the release of the season 10 trailer on August 28, many fans were curious about how Mauricio, 55, was able to socialize with the cast.
“Hey Gizelle,” Mauricio greeted while leaning in for a hug and a kiss on the cheek. “How have you been?”
Gizelle responded, “So good to see you.”
Although his cameo surprised some fans, Kyle, 56, mentioned she was already aware due to a message from a Bravo star.

“Gizelle reached out to me via DM, informing me, ‘Oh, we bumped into him,’” she recounted during her appearance on Amazon Live on September 2. “He appears in the trailer.”
Us confirmed in July 2023 that Kyle and Mauricio were spending time apart after 27 years of marriage. Despite this, they continue to maintain a cordial relationship, with no divorce proceedings filed yet.
When questioned about whether Kyle would be bothered by Mauricio’s upcoming feature, Ashley speculated that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star would have little reason for concern.
“I doubt it. Gizelle has mentioned him on her ‘Reasonably Shady’ podcast,” Ashley noted. “I’m unsure if things became a bit tense with Kyle and Mauricio following that, but I’m not certain where they currently stand.”

She added, “I’m eager to see it. I can’t wait. When the episode airs, I’ll dive right in because I want to learn what’s going on.”
In a recent segment on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Gizelle responded to a viewer query about her dating choices.
A viewer even inquired if she would consider going on a date with Mauricio.
“I would not. Girl code,” she told the host Andy Cohen. “He’s an incredibly handsome man, but I won’t do it out of respect for Kyle.”
Meanwhile, Ashley provided Us with a glimpse into her dating journey following her divorce from Michael Darby.
Although she remains close to Love Hotel participant Ralph Mastrangelo, Ashley mentioned she’s actively searching for the right partner.
“Now that I’m officially divorced, I’m taking dating more seriously,” she shared. “I used to think ‘I’m still married’ when I’d date during the separation, so I just had fun. But at 37, I’m ready for a genuine relationship.”
