Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate, online influencers and podcasters, have made their way to the United States after Romanian authorities lifted travel restrictions against them. The brothers, who hold dual American and British citizenship, arrived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Thursday, as reported by the Associated Press.

The Tates had been arrested in late 2022 in Romania on charges related to human trafficking. They were accused of being involved in a criminal enterprise that enticed women to Romania, where they allegedly faced sexual exploitation. However, the brothers vehemently deny these allegations.

Upon their arrival in Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis expressed his disapproval, stating that “Florida is not a place where you’re welcome with that type of conduct.” DeSantis emphasized that his team was not notified of the brothers’ arrival and that the federal government holds jurisdiction over their entry into the country.

Attorney General James Uthmeier also weighed in on the situation, stating that Florida has zero tolerance for human trafficking and violence against women. He directed his office to collaborate with state law enforcement partners to conduct a preliminary inquiry into the Tate brothers. If the alleged crimes fall under Florida’s jurisdiction, Uthmeier assured that they would be held accountable.

The Romanian agency DIICOT, responsible for handling organized crime, mentioned that the Tate brothers are expected to return to Romania when summoned. Failure to comply may result in stricter measures being taken against them.

Andrew Tate, a former professional kickboxer with a significant social media following, maintained his innocence upon arrival in the U.S. He emphasized that in a democratic society, individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Despite the rumors circulating online, he expressed that he and his brother are often misunderstood.

Both Andrew and Tristan Tate are known supporters of former President Donald Trump. DeSantis mentioned during a news conference that legal authorities would be exploring options to address the brothers’ entry into Florida.

This article was originally published on The Western Journal website and sheds light on the ongoing legal saga involving the Tate brothers. The situation continues to unfold as authorities on both sides of the Atlantic navigate the complexities of the case. The brothers’ future in the U.S. remains uncertain as legal proceedings and investigations progress.
